This nook has a bery special place in my hear, as I sure all authors say of ebery book they write. This one saw me through a difficulty time in my nlife. I was actually writing this book, as I published Love at Sukkot.

I’ve been on the search for Christian audiobooks that are less white, countr, or western. I figured there has to be a corner of the market that provides something different. I went to audible and search for “African American Christian Romance”. My hope was to find something contemporary that would speak to me,
Participating in NaNoWriMo is a part of the culture of Sunflowers and Romance Publishing. It is a time for us to come together and put our hands to the plow to write the next best seller! Though we write books year round, this season of collaboration and support is very important for our authors to come together in labor hand-in-hand to put their books on paper. We are all in different places doing different things, but for this month we are all here together doi kg this particular month.
You know, I prayed that the Most High Yah would bless my book Love at Sukkot. I just don’t think it would look like this.
One of the things I am most proud of with the release of Love at Sukkot is the chance to work with and highlight small black business owners. The only product in the limited edition box that was not made by black hands is the Myrtle Bath bombs. And trust that I did everything I could to find a black creator to produce what I needed.
This season. This place, this moment in my life is so momentous. I never imagined that I would be in this place. Well no. That’s a lie. I imagined I would be here. I just can’t believe that here is well here.
